Thanksgiving Wine
- November 17, 2025
Thanksgiving is a time that is filled with abundance and sharing. We've always believed that wine is meant to be enjoyed with food and shared with family and friends. Thanksgiving is a perfect moment for that. One great thing about wine is that it is subjective and everyone has their own opinion, so we, in the office, wanted to share what each of us will be serving for Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving feasts in the upcoming weeks.
Laura – “Our family will be opening the two new Fall releases – 2023 Chardonnay and 2021 Next Red. I think the Next Red pairs perfectly with spicy foods, which our family loves. We will have a turkey, but I always make homemade salsa to enjoy with it. We enjoy the Chardonnay for dessert with fruits and sweet pies.”
Quinn – “We host a Friendsgiving dinner and I love opening magnums because they are showstoppers and fun to pass around the table. We plan to pour the 2020 Reserve Chardonnay Magnum because our friends love the Reserve Chardonnay, and I’m looking forward to sharing a 2003 Cabernet Magnum that has some added age. It’s so special to share older vintages and everyone gets excited to try it.”
Kate – “We are especially excited to open the newly released 2022 Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine. Not only is it festive and fun, but the acidity helps to cut the richness of the dinner.”
Scott – “We’ll be celebrating with my sister at her house and there will be many bottles open on the table. From California, France and elsewhere, including some varietals I have never heard of. While I look forward to tasting everything, I will keep coming back to our 2024 Rosé because it is the perfect balance to hopelessly rich and delicious dinner (and dessert).”
