What’s something most people don’t know about you? At age 8, I was picking grapes (in California) and avocados (in Mexico).

Where did you grow up? Healdsburg

Favorite local restaurant: Catelli’s in Geyserville

What’s your perfect weekend day look like? Spending time with my family, relaxing (not running around doing errands!) or being at the river in Cloverdale or watching my 4-year-old run play.

How else do you spend your free time? I don’t have any! (She laughs.) My free time is spent helping the community like making tamales for fundraisers or cleaning our local church.

Favorite Hafner wine (yes, just one!): Rosé

What’s the best part of being part of the Hafner Vineyard team? Working for a family business. The family is so kind and humble.

What’s the most exciting time of the year at Hafner Vineyard? So far it’s the Barrel Tastings because I got to meet wonderful people, and now I can put some faces with names. It was really fun! And I got to introduce my two adult/teenagers to people as they helped at the events too.

What’s the best part of living in Sonoma County? Everything! It’s beautiful scenery.

Personal motto or saying that you live by: “The Golden Rule”: Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Favorite day of the year: Christmas

What’s a memory of when you started working at Hafner Vineyard? It’s such a small world because after I started working at Hafner Vineyard, I found all these connections! My Godmother has been working for various family members. I went to high school with Matt (who does our shipping), and I knew Ricardo (the Assistant Winemaker) through friends. I felt like I was reunited with family. It was really cool.

What’s the craziest/funniest job you’ve done here? Being the Breaktime barista! We gather together every day at 10 am for lattes and snacks. Kate and Sandy taught me how to make the lattes in case they aren’t at work. I’ve never done that in my life. We don’t drink any coffee in my family, so it was a new experience for me.
