September in Wine Country is exciting with vineyards abuzz. It’s Harvest time! We often welcome patrons and friends to the winery in September who want to experience this season when our cellar is full of action. This year is different…for all of us. We have not had the pleasure of visitors as we are taking precautions because of COVID-19. Instead, we found a fun way to bring Harvest to you…virtually! During the Holiday Season, it is “all hands on deck”! We are grateful to our patrons who are so generous with their Hafner wine. Thank YOU! With the Holiday Rush here, it’s all hands on deck. We are answering phones, responding to emails, entering orders and writing gift notes. Down in the cellar, Spencer and Martín are packaging up the gifts of wine with each personal gift note before the UPS driver arrives. Here's a sneak peek video of the shipping team as they send Gift Packs (a bottle each of 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2015 Chardonnay) to lucky gift recipients all over the country.

When people ask me what it’s like to drive the machine harvester, it’s a bit hard to imagine, so we thought it might be fun to have you ride along with me. During the Chardonnay harvest, I wore a GoPro on my head so that you could see what it’s like to drive the harvester through my eyes. Warning! I tried to keep as steady as possible but I did have to move quite a bit.
