Printable Holiday Gift Tags
- December 2, 2025
As the Holidays approach, excitement builds quickly in our house. With our daughters, Kate and Grace, their husbands, Martin and Alex, and our grandchildren, Marie and Cole, all nearby, the season is full of lively gatherings, decorating, and shared meals.
One of my favorite traditions is our wrapping party. Parke takes charge of dinner while the rest of us gather around tables covered with wrapping paper, tape, ribbons and gift boxes. There’s a certain order to the chaos: gifts lined up on the sofa, boxes ready to be filled, and wrapped presents stacked by family.
Near the tree, we always set up a small table devoted just to gift tags, both old favorites we’ve saved and reused year after year and new ones we’ve made. Marie loves to sort them, and now Cole joins in too, helping us choose the perfect tag for each present.
Over the years, we’ve collected many tags, but I also love painting new watercolors and turning them into fresh designs. To me, the gift tag is like the finishing touch on a bottle of wine or a wrapped box – a small detail that makes the gift feel extra thoughtful.
This year, we’re sharing one of my gift tag templates so you can add a homemade touch to your gifts as well.
