Hafner Vineyard

Our Blog - The Press

Next Gen Communal Table 2On Saturday, we hosted our 11th Next Generation Harvest Party. Since we sell all our wine direct to people at home, this is a fun way to introduce the next generation to Hafner wines. It was a perfect Fall day with Mother Nature tempting a sprinkle of rain but the sun peered through later in the day. Check out some highlights from the day.

A View from Above

Hafner VineyardA few years ago, Uncle Scott encouraged me to become a “drone pilot”, so we could have some unique photos from above. This certainly pushed me out of my comfort zone, but the end result is always fun and dramatic. In my most recent flight, I took a number of photos, but one stood out to us. We work closely as a team between vineyard, cellar and sales. Hafner Next GenOn Saturday, we had our annual Next Generation Harvest Party. Since we sell all our wine direct to people at home, this is one way that we introduce the next generation to Hafner Vineyard. We welcomed 120 guests to the winery where people tasted wine, nibbled on snacks, joined mini wine classes, shared their Hafner stories, added descriptors to the wine wheel and more. It was a perfect Fall day and a great way to toast the end of Harvest. Thanks to all who joined us!
