This case is a great example of how our Chardonnays develop.

The 2019 has aromas of lemon blossoms, Barlett pear and Honeycrisp apple. It has a fruit entry and rich mid-palate with notes of toasted brioche and a hint of flintiness. The 2020 is bright and fruit forward with aromas of grapefruit, honeysuckle and tangerines. The case is a wonderful selection illustrating how our Chardonnays age over time: fruit aromas soften and flinty, toasty notes come forward. 

Both wines have the complexity and structure to allow them to develop and age well for another two or more years.
