Made in the traditional Burgundian style, the 2019 Reserve Chardonnay opens with lemon blossom, Bosc pear, and oyster shell aromas. Elegant, it has sweet lemon cream, pear tart and flinty flavors. The vanilla toastiness from barrel fermentation and extended barrel aging enhance its bouquet. Lovely now, the 2019 has the structure and complexity to allow it to develop for at least another year or two.
