For more than forty years, we have sold our wines directly to the people at home. We've always believed the best part of making wine is getting to know the people who share it around their tables with family and friends. Having no one in between us and our patrons was just smart, plus it yielded many lovely relationships.
Over the years, our patrons have become much more than customers. You have become part of the Hafner story.
Shared Through the Generations
One of the greatest compliments we hear is, "My parents introduced me to your wines," or "Now my children are members too." Just as we have grown into a multi-generational family business, many of the families who enjoy our wines have made Hafner wine a part of their own traditions. Bottles first bought by parents are now being shared by their adult children and even grandchildren. We are honored to be part of those memories.

Most new patrons discover Hafner the same way they have for decades: through someone they trust. A friend pours a glass at dinner. A neighbor brings a bottle to a gathering. A colleague gives a bottle from their favorite winery. We are honored that patrons share their Hafner so generously.
That personal introduction has always meant more to us than any marketing campaign ever could.

Choosing to sell directly from our family to yours also means we never lose touch with the people who enjoy our wines. “Farm to Table” doesn’t get any closer for our patrons. When you call, email or visit, you're in touch with the people who grow the grapes, make the wine and take care of our patrons.

It gives us an intimacy with the land, the vines, the wine and our patrons. We build relationships that last for decades instead of simply completing transactions.
