Chardonnay Harvest Video

Harvest is always an exciting time here. It means early mornings for the vineyard and cellar teams, the smell of fermentation throughout the winery and the prospect of another vintage. We wanted to take people behind the scenes of the Chardonnay Harvest and give you an insider’s look at how the grapes are picked, processed and made into wine. Vineyard manager David Huebel starts in the vineyard explaining how and why we harvest by machine. The grapes are picked and delivered to the winery less than 20 minutes later. From there, winemaker Parke Hafner shows how the grapes are sorted, pressed and then monitored through fermentation in our caves. We hope you enjoy the video!
