To help prolong Summer, we have put together a special mixed case with three wines that we have enjoyed during these warmer months. The case includes four bottles each of 2016 Rosé, 2011 Reserve Chardonnay and 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon. Perfect for a Labor Day gathering or your cellar. Or you can hand out the bottles as hostess gifts.

We only have a small amount of each wine left, so there is a limit of one case per person.

The 2016 Rosé has been a very popular Summer wine. Made from Malbec grapes, our Rosé is fruit-forward, crisp with a long, fresh finish.

We shared 2011 Reserve Chardonnay with patrons at the Spring Barrel Tastings, and it was very well received. Inspired by winemaker Parke Hafner’s time in Burgundy, the Reserve is made with the intention of aging. This wine is proof of that. It has flinty, pear, vanilla, sweet grapefruit aromas. Fresh lemon cream entry; round, supple mid-palate; sweet vanilla, toast and mineral notes add to its depth. Excellent balance. We will be enjoying this wine for the next six months.

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a fun way to round out this case. It is fruit forward with aromas of raspberries, blueberries and cassis. Rich, complex on the palate. Notes of carpaccio, nutmeg, mint and a bittersweet chocolate finish. The 2010 is drinking well now and at seven years of age, one might expect it to be fully developed. In fact, it is still very youthful and will continue to mature for at least another five to seven years.
