Unlike our other wines, the growing season has less impact on our Rosé because it is intended to be enjoyed when it is young and fruity, within the year. The grapes for this wine were harvested on October 21 and the juice measured :
22.6° Brix sugar
0.55 g/100 mls acidity
Produced from only Malbec grapes, our 2013 Rosé was fermented cold in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank to retain its fruity components. We carefully monitored its fermentation rate, color and acidity to ensure that the wine was fruit-forward and well-balanced. Bottled in February 2014, this Rosé had:
0.47 g/100 mls acidity
We are pleased to release our third Rosé to our patrons. Fruit-driven with the classic aromas of fresh watermelon, ripe strawberries and rose petals. It is bright, lively on the palate with a clean, crisp finish. Perfect for a warm Summer day. 755 cases were produced.
